Digitalidag supporting digitalisation 

Swedish Digitalidag is an annual national theme day about the opportunities and challenges of digitization. Goal is to inspire people to participate in the digital development. This year, Digitalidag was arranged fourth time in a row, on the 14th of October 2022. We are of course extra delighted, that Digitalidag main events were hosted in using ifairs platform.

“We at ifairs are strong supporters of Digitalisation initiatives and extremely honoured to be partner in hosting Digitalidag -event.” Says Marena Christensen, CEO of ifairs.

“Many people spend a lot of time and energy thinking about how we should prepare for future crises and societal challenges. Tasks are often given to actors who sit in their silos, who sit down at the drawing board and sketch plans. We at Digitalidag want to involve as many partners as possible and work together to create a digitally included society for everyone. Previous years the number of partners has reach up to amazing +250 companies.

Digitalidag has a history of fine line-up of supporting brands such as Facebook, Philips and Volvo, ABB, Ikea and many others. The commitment has been great from the start, and every year the movement has grown. In 2021, more than 10,000 people were involved, and over 160 collaboration matches were made.

We are extra happy, that we have been able to partner up with ifairs and their platform, which has been extremely easy to manage and use. Both for us who are arranging the events, but also for our attendees. It is definitely a plus on the side, that the platform is also delightful to look at” Project Manager for Digitalidag Lina Cronqvist state.

On 1st of September Digitalidag arranged a digital kickoff for all partners and interested parties at ifairs platform. This event was a final sprint before the main day – Digital Day on October 14., where attendees all over the Sweden were gathered in true hybrid mode- Physically and virtually. The broadcasting was done simultaneously from two different location, giving a fantastic flavor for the event.

“It was great to see our platform in action supporting the digital innovation and getting a lot of positive feedback. I am already looking forward to 2023”, smiles Marena.
