North Europe’s biggest electric car fair become hybrid

After previous years’ successes, eCarExpo wanted to showcase the most innovative and hottest trends in the electric car industry in Copenhagen, Gothenburg, and Stockholm. However, this time the organizers wanted to host the event with a totally new concept – Hybrid fair. eCarExpo chose to partner up with ifairs to accomplish this exciting move to the virtual world.

Since 2016 eCarExpo has shown the latest electric car trends, with electric and hybrid cars, charging technologies and electrical products for fossil-free motoring and transport. The fair is the biggest in Northern Europe, with over 80 exhibitors and 15.000 visitors per fair.

For the first time, the electric car fair visited Copenhagen on 29–31.20.21, Gothenburg 3-5.12.21 and Stockholm on 4-6.2.22 as a hybrid fair, where eCarExpo combined physical and virtual event.

Gunnar Dackevall, CEO of eCarExpo, comments on the new investment in the hybrid fair:

“Our goal has been to convey the atmosphere, content, and inspiration in eCarExpo directly to individuals in both homes and offices. Through our new collaboration with ifairs, we could now bring eCarExpo to an even wider audience. This allowed us to adapt our popular consumer fair to the new event landscape and our visitors’ new needs.
The new virtual event platform of iFairs introduces new, innovative functions for interaction using AI technology. This gave the participants an even greater opportunity to meet, experience, and do business on-site or online at the electric car fair. The hybrid fair gave eCarExpo much needed global reach and new participants from all over the world.”

“We are convinced that hybrid events are the future and that this collaboration is a fantastic opportunity for us to help eCarExpo on their journey to deliver outstanding digital experiences”, says Marena Christensen, CEO of ifairs.
